Although this idea was once considered unusual, it is gradually attracting attention in many countries.

     Some observers point out that this approach may offer advantages. One is that it could reduce the distance food must travel before reaching consumers. This may lower transportation costs and reduce the risk of supply problems. Another point is that such projects can use unused urban spaces. In areas with limited land, this may increase food production without expanding into natural environments. These activities may also encourage people to think more about food production.

    On the other hand, others suggest there may be limitations. Creating controlled environments for plants can require large amounts of energy, raising concerns about efficiency. Furthermore, some critics argue that the amount of food produced in cities may remain small compared with traditional farming. Because of these factors, questions remain about its future role.
