Is freedom of the news media beneficial to society?
模範解答は下記でした。
It is a common sentiment that the world has become more complex in recent years. In such tumultuous times, the freedom of the press is more essential than ever. It provides diverse opinions on complicated issues, rapid transmission of urgent information, and, perhaps most importantly, a check on other powerful forces.
A free media gives rise to an environment in which opposing views on issues can be published without recourse. Society faces many divisive political and social issues, and in order to navigate such delicate discourse, it is imperative that people be exposed to a range of viewpoints.
Additionally, a free press can issue information hastily. We are confronted each day with breaking news from around the world, making access to up-to-date information necessary. However, if the media must seek approval before publishing news, this will inevitably create delays. A free press, however, has no such constraints.
Finally, a free news media can exert influence on powerful worldwide entities, such as governments and multinational conglomerates, that have an interest in suppressing negative reports on their activities. A free news media can investigate and disseminate information about such things, and this helps create opportunities for positive change.
In conclusion, a news media that is free to report on anything is crucial for modern society to tackle the most pressing issues of the day. Freedom of expression acts as a beacon of information, guiding us to a better future.

でも、言いたいことは下記です。第一段落の2文目です。

そして同じ段落で、3つの理由をこれから論じますよと示しています。

段落それぞれこのように説明されています。

模範解答では理由はそれぞれ3-4文になっていますが、短い場合は5文程度書かないと単語数が200-240語に届かないかも知れないので要注意です。
そして最後に結論が来ます。

今回は、第一段落で挙げた3つの理由を言い換えて書いてないですね。
言い換えるとしたら、24年度第2回の模範解答を参考にしますが、こんな感じになると思います。
