Many people choose to read online customer reviews before making a purchase. They give people useful information to make better choices and offer companies chances to improve their products. However, it is difficult to know which reviews to trust because some are not real, and too many negative comments can especially hurt a small business.

これで50語です。語数の指定は45語～55語なので、ぴったりです。（2025年度より語数は目安でなく指定となっています）
言い回しを少し変えます。
For many people reading customer reviews to decide what to buy is important.
They provide information that are useful for customers to make right decisions and offer businesses opportunities to make their products better.
Nevertheless, some customer reviews are fake and not trustworthy. Also bad reviews can degrade reputations for the smaller shops.
これで53語です。
どうでしょう。まず本文から該当文を抜き出すことが先決です。
それをつなげるだけで合格点はもらえると思います。
慣れていなければ、抜き出してつなげることに集中してください。
次に言い回しを変えるのが難しいなら、語順かえずに似た意味の単語を入れ替えるだけでも良いです。
例）people -> customers
なお、要約の過去問が増えてきましたが、だいたいパターンが見えてきました。
ただし、各段落の抜き出し文数は以前と少々かわっています。
今回は、第一段落から2つ、第二段落から2つ、第三段落から複数でした。
（以前は、第一段落から1つ、第二段落から2つ、第三段落から2つや第三段落から3つ抜き出していることが多いと感じていました）
ただし、キーワードは変わっていません。
However、Moreover、Thusの後ろは抜き出し箇所です。（直後とは限りません）
要約はまず慣れないと鉛筆が一切動かないことになります。
筆者は、生徒さんに段落を一つ読んでもらって「で、オレがこの段落を読んでいないとして、『一言でこういう事が書かれてありました』って伝えるとしたら何？日本語で言って。」と最初に聞きます。
それを答えてもらったら、次にその段落で該当箇所はどれ？と特定してもらいます。
この作業ができれば8割がた要約は終わったも同然です。
あとは、抜き出して、つなげて、言い換えるだけです。
