模範解答は下記でした。

I think this is a good idea. First, it is efficient for students to study with it. They can watch unclear parts again and again and skip sections they already understand. Second, it can provide more opportunities for students who want to study many subjects and spend many hours learning. Since it is free, they can study as much as they want without financial worries. Therefore, I think it is a good idea for people to provide free online video content to help students study by themselves at home.

 

2025年度 第3回 2級 解答

生徒が自宅で自習できるように、無料のオンラインビデオコンテンツを提供している人もいるが、それが「良いアイデアか」どうか聞かれていますね。

良いアイデアだと思うか思わないかはっきり言わなければなりません。

 

しかし、I think this is a good idea.でくくって良いのか。

 

この部分、はっきりしないんですよね。

例えば、準2級のe-mail問題に関しては、本文中の質問にあるsuchは模範解答で置き換わっています。

例：25年第三回 準2級 e-mail問題

最後の文：Do you think more cities will provide such a bus service in the future?

模範解答：I think more cities will provide a free bus service for elderly people.

少なくともこの部分においては、I think more cities will provide such a bus service for elderly people.と答えないよう模範解答は誘導しています。

suchは「そのような」の意味ですので、「どのような」の論点が必要といっているのでしょう。

そういった点で、I think this is a good idea.は、どんなideaがgoodなのか論じていないので、筆者は引っ掛かります。

 

筆者だったら、こう書くと思います。

 

I think providing free online video content to help students study by themselves at home is a good idea.

ただし、公式が作文ではI think this isa good idea.でくくって良いと言っているので、良いのでしょう。

 

 

First、Secondと分かりやすくしています。これ大事です。

採点者は、楽に採点できることを望んでいます。

First, it is efficient for students to study with it. They can watch unclear parts again and again and skip sections they already understand.

Second, it can provide more opportunities for students who want to study many subjects and spend many hours learning. Since it is free, they can study as much as they want without financial worries.

 

第一の理由は効率 efficiency から、第二の理由は機会 opportunities の観点からですね。

ちなみにだいたい各理由は2文で良いです。

 

そしてこのように結論が来ますね。

Therefore, I think it is a good idea for people to provide free online video content to help students study by themselves at home.

 

なお、筆者は序論と結論を全く同じ文にしています。

 

いいんです！

ただ合格点を狙っているだけなら、繰り返して良いんです。

変に今まで使ってない表現使って、文法ミスやらかして減点されるなら、同じこと書きましょう！

2級からは必ず結論が求められます。

 

語数が足りなかったらどうするのだと質問もあると思います。

それでは、序論にI have two reasons to support my opinion.と足しましょう。

（たまにopinionsと複数にする方がいますが、基本的には意見は一つですので単数です。）

それでも足らなければ、各理由に1文ずつ足してください。

反対に乗りに乗って100語以上も書くのもリスクが伴います。語数が多ければ多いほど、文法ミスやスペルミスの可能性が高まるからです。

もっともタイパ、コスパが良いのはちょうど80語でしょう。

 

また、何度も言っているかもしれませんが、感動物語なんかは必要ないですからね。

それと英文で書ける意見で書いてください。採点者はあなたのことは知りません。

ですので、普段から例えば環境問題に意識高く色々考えていたとしても、英文で言い表せなかったら、反対の立場で書くのです。
