These days, many novels are turned into movies. Do you think the number of such movies will increase in the future?

模範解答は下記でした。

I think the number of such movies will increase in the future. First, from the perspective of movie companies, a certain amount of sales can be expected from such movies. If the original novel is a well-known work, fans of the novel will come to see the movie. Second, from the perspective of publishing companies, such movies might help increase the sales of the novels. These movies might lead people to learn about the original novels. For these reasons above, I think the number of such movies will increase in the future.

まず、小説原作の映画が増えていくか、「あなたは思うか」どうか聞かれていますね。

思うか思わないかかはっきり言わなければなりません。

解答も全部コピーしていますね。

suchを繰り返すのは、筆者個人は合点がいきません。

何故なら、面接ではsuchを答えに使うと減点だからです。

suchを必ず言い換えるというのが、英検2級の面接質問第一問目のポイントです。

ですので、筆者だったら、こう書くと思います。

I think the number of movies that are from novels will increase in the future.

ただし、公式が作文ではsuchを使って良いと言っているので、良いのでしょう。

理由は二つです。

First、Secondと分かりやすくしています。これ大事です。

採点者は、楽に採点できることを望んでいます。

First, from the perspective of movie companies, a certain amount of sales can be expected from such movies. If the original novel is a well-known work, fans of the novel will come to see the movie.

Second, from the perspective of publishing companies, such movies might help increase the sales of the novels. These movies might lead people to learn about the original novels.

第一の理由は、映画会社の視点から、第二の理由は出版社の視点からですね。

ただ、またまた突っ込みを入れさせてもらうなら、in the futureの話をしている割には、今までもそうだったことを書いていますね。

映画・小説のタイアップのコラボなんて今までもあったし、これからもあるに違いありません。それが更に今後加速的に伸びていくかどうかを聞いている（と筆者は読んだ）わけです。

ですので、筆者だったらこう書きますね。

① 映画会社の視点

今はネットの時代。イチから良い映画なんて作ってもヒットしない。既に固定ファンがついている原作を再生産していくことが生き残る道

② 出版社の視点

出版不況と言われて久しい。ネットの時代はこれをより悪化させていく。小説原作 <-> 映画という構図はなくてはならない。

ネットを軸にしてこう論じると思います。

ただ、これは採点者をうならせるつもりで満点狙って書いた場合です。
