2級 ライティング（英文要約）を見て行きましょう。
模範解答は下記でした。
Some people choose to go to other countries to work. While working abroad, they can have new experiences and learn a local language that is helpful for their future. However, they have to face issues with differences in customs at work and feel lonely for not being able to visit their family and friends easily.

まず、やることは本文から該当文を抜くことです。

それと、言い回しも語順も少し変えます。

どうでしょう。まず本文から該当文を抜き出すことが先決です。
それをつなげるだけで合格点はもらえると思います。
慣れていなければ、抜き出してつなげることに集中してください。
次に言い回しを変えるのが難しいなら、語順かえずに単語を入れ替えるだけでも良いです。
例）other countries -> foreign countries
なお、要約の過去問が増えてきましたが、だいたいパターンが見えてきました。
第一段落から1つ、第二段落から2つ、第三段落から2つ抜き出していることが多いようです。
また、抜き出す箇所は、第一段落は最後の文、第二段落は最初の文か冒頭それとAlsoなどのキーワードのあと、第三段落は最初の文か冒頭それとAlsoなどのキーワードのあと、と感じています。
もう少し過去問が増えていけば、もっと明確になるでしょう。
